We have been working hard to ensure that the 2021 event goes ahead in the safest way possible for all our customers, staff, artists and surrounding community.

After publishing the initial communication in regards to COVID 19 conditions of entry, we have spent the past 24 hours in conversation with the local authorities and Public Health Office, and have reached a compromise.

Please read the important update below in regards to 51st State Festival 2021:

**LOCAL AUTHORITIES HAVE NOW UPDATED THEIR GUIDANCE AND THE BELOW IS NOW ONLY A RECOMMENDATION AND NOT A CONDITION OF ENTRY!**

We strongly recommend that you take a NHS Lateral Flow Test within 24 hours before the event and only attend if the result is negative.

Alternatively, you may be able to collect tests to then do at home: https://maps.test-and-trace.nhs.uk

If you are feeling unwell, experiencing any Covid symptoms, test positive for Covid 19 or you have been advised to self-isolate by NHS Test & Trace, please do not attend the event. Whilst you are at the event, if you become symptomatic, you should avoid contact with others, speak to medical personnel onsite for further assessment. You may be given a face covering and asked to go home and follow guidelines regarding isolating and obtaining a PCR test.

This year 51st State is going cashless. We have made this decision after careful consideration, as we believe it will keep our fans and staff as safe as possible during this current climate. In addition, this will improve the speed of service, reduce queues and enable the event to run as smoothly as possible.

Upon arrival everyone entering the festival site you will receive a cashless wristband, this is for entry purposes and for paying for everything on site including the bars, food outlets, stalls and fairground rides.

You will be sent a QR code as your voucher. When you get to the festival you will be guided to the top up station right after the search tent, the credit you purchased online will be scanned and transferred to your wristband at the top up point at the gate. There are also 6 top up stations located around the festival site where you can load money onto your wristbands.

You can claim back any unused funds online up to the value of £100 per wristband. To cash out, visit www.51ststatefestival.com, sign in or register for an account, and select ‘Cash Out’. If you didn’t register your wristband before the festival, you will be asked to link your wristband and provide card details to complete the cashout. You can link a maximum of 5 wristbands to the same account. Cashout will open at 10am on Monday 9th August and close 10pm Thursday 13th August 2021.

Please arrive early to avoid queues.

There will be two entrances: standard and VIP, please ask a steward on arrival to make sure you are in the correct queue.

There is strictly no re-admission on the day.

Please expect a thorough and strict search as this is a condition of entry especially in these times of heightened security. Bags will also be searched thoroughly.

Pressurised gas canisters and legal highs are strictly prohibited on site. Anyone found with these items will have them confiscated and may be refused entry. Anything that could cause harm is strictly prohibited. A second search in the presence of the police will result from the discovery of any prohibited items.

You cannot bring any liquids into the venue, this includes eye drops & nose sprays, perfume, water bottles etc. However you are allowed to bring sun cream under 50ml and this must be sprayed on your person on entry and also hand sanitiser, this also must be used on your person on entry.

You are allowed to bring prescribed medication on site when accompanied by a doctor’s note or valid medical certificate.

You cannot bring any food or drink into the festival. There are great variety of food outlets on site including gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. These can be found in the centre of the site. They only accept the cashless wristbands for payment.

There are plenty of bars around the site. The bars only accept the cashless wristbands for payment.Free drinking water is available from the water fountains.

These can be found near the main entrance.

There will be free water fountains throughout the site.

If at any point during the event you feel unwell, please head to the Medic Tent to speak to our medics. This is located near the main entrance. Our qualified team are there to help you, whether you or any of your friends feel unwell, or even just need to chill out. Please look out for yourselves, your friends and your fellow festival goers.

Trent Park is easy to reach using public transport.

Please note: It is important (and easiest for you) to follow the sign posts and paths upon arrival to and departure from the festival.

TRAVEL BY TUBE
Cockfosters Station (Piccadilly Line) The only tube station open is Cockfosters (Piccadilly Line) which is a 10-minute walk away from the festival site, please turn left once on Cockfosters Road. Please check www. tfl.gov.uk for travel info.

TRAVEL BY TAXI
There will be a taxi rank for collections, this will be sign-posted on the day of the event. Please be aware that there are strict road closures in operation in the surrounding areas which only allow access to local residents. Traffic enforcement will be in full operation on the day and cars will be towed!

PARKING
There is a limited number of car parking spaces available, you must purchase a ticket if you wish to park there - tickets available here

If you have bought a parking permit please make your way to Bramley Sports Ground, Chase Side N14 4PE

Please show your car park ticket to the steward.

ARRIVAL & THE MAIN ENTRANCE
Please follow the signs for 51st State Festival and enter via the Cockfosters Road entrance to Trent Park. Please note the route from Oakwood Tube Station is a private road that the public will not be able to use. For this reason, all festival goers should get to the festival via Cockfosters tube station.

The box office and standard ticket entrance are just past Go Ape Cockfosters and the VIP entrance is at the top of the site as seen on the site map below.

After the event
We host 51st State Festival in a beautiful tranquil surrounding that is located in a residential area. Please be respectful to our neighbours to ensure we do not impact our lovely residents and we get to return to our home.

Leaving the festival site
There is a road closure on Cockfosters Road for egress with clear signage directing attendees to the tube, taxi pick-up location and the car park. There is a queuing system for everyone to get into Cockfosters Station to get home and this will be managed by our events team along with TFL. Everyone will get on the tube however we will be holding people outside so we allow a safe and efficient boarding of the tubes on the platform. Security and the event team will be advising attendees of any information along the egress route.

Join us at the 51st State Festival Official After Party at Ministry of Sound Club from 11PM right through the night until 6AM. We will be joined by an enormous line up including Roger Sanchez, SG Lewis, Todd Terry, Sammy Porter, Matt Jam Lamont, Norris Da Boss Windross & MC Creed, Majestic & more!
